Who We are :

Shri J.G. Co-Operative Hospital Society’s "Shri J.G. Co-operative Hospital and Research Institute” Ghataprabha was established with the motto of providing poor patient treatment and improvement of medical infrastructure in the year 1951. We are the first to establish first Co-Operative Hospital in India. We always know that “HEALTH IS WEALTH”. Everyone knows that “It is not possible to achieve anything without a good health”. Hence we always strive to improve the quality of health care by adopting latest technology and equipments to strengthen our medical processes and procedures to meet our set objectives.

We are always committed to provide ethical, reliable, high quality and cost effective health care services with maximum care and compassion to ensure complete patient satisfaction.

What we have done :

Shri J.G. Co-operative Hospital Society started its health services in rural area at village Ghataprabha just by opening an OPD. Gradually services are extended and added many facilities in the interest of common public mainly with the developments supported by the financial assistance from donors of various sectors, state, central government aids and funds from “Mooru Savira Math” Hubli.

Currently we are running 150 bedded Speciality Allopathic Hospital, 220 bedded Ayurvedic Hospital, 50 bedded Naturopathy & Yoga Centre, Ayurvedic and Nursing Schools & Colleges and many more at Ghataprabha with the kind help of donors and sponsors.

Types of Donations :

We accept different types of contribution.

1. Sponsorships

We have made provisions to keep sponsors names to rooms, wards, blocks, medical instruments by any individual as well as institutions. Sponsorships can be made in the name of individual, in the memory of their beloveds or in the name of institution. All such sponsorships are exempted from tax u/s 80(G) of Income Tax.

2. Donations

Any individual, corporate company, institution or organization from India or abroad can help us in providing best medical care by donating their contribution. All such contributions are exempted from tax u/s 80(G) of Income Tax.
